Expanding Horizons

So, I had a new adventure this week.  I attended a class on Japanese bookbinding at the local Tandy Leather store (recently opened in South Park Meadows) and it turns out that I was the only person who attended the class, so what a lucky girl I was to have had so much personal attention.  I have done some bookbinding in the past but it had been several years and so I was a bit anxious to undertake yet another crafting challenge.  It was fantastic.  The instructor has been an instructor for forty years and was so passionate about the subject that I was reminded of why I love crafting so much – the joy of empowering other people to accomplish things they never imagined for themselves is so great!  Can’t wait to take the journal making class on November 3, 2018 with my son.
